About Let's Encrypt
Overview
Let's Encrypt is run by non-profit the Internet Security Research Group (ISRG).
This uses the Automated Certificate Management Environment (ACME) protocol for automating issuing certificates and other related operations.
The server-side implementation used by Let's Encrypt is written in Go and called Boulder.
